There are more than 425 characters spread across 375 games in the below picture (click for high rez). How many can you name? I think it would be easier for me to simply try and name every character I know across all games than to actually try and find them...

I grabbed Final Fantasy XIII yesterday on my lunch break and was able to put in about two hours with it last night. I am still getting tutorial pop-ups, so I will definitely have to write another review later once I get more in-depth. There will be some spoilers, but since I am not too far in, there really isn't a reason to concern yourself with them.

Final Fantasy XIII Review

I ordered my video card yesterday at 1:45pm. I got it on my doorstep about 20 minutes ago.

Apparently a blind kid really wanted to beat Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. So the internetz came to the rescue. People played the game and typed out every single freaking thing they did and then had the blind guy's computer output the information verbally and the guy would then make that movement.
You can read the article Here.
I am thoroughly impressed by this. The intricate movements involved in playing Zelda would make this scenario, in my mind, impossible. Kudos to all the people that helped this kid.

I wrote yesterday about the skirmishes and how it took me a good week to get to 35 from 34. I have no idea how much /played that was, but I would have to say at least 5 hours. Most of that was spent travelling (and swimming) and without my horse it was slow as hell.

I've been playing lotro a bit. Took me about a week to go from 34 to 35. I forgot how slow the leveling process is in lotro, especially when you don't do the fellowship quests which generally are always at the end of quest chains. I had to run around three different zones in order to get enough quests finished to ding 35. But yay, I got my horsie!

We have talked about Little Big Planet a few times on this site. It was the first game I purchased when I got my PS3. It is a very pretty side scrolling platformer with some of the most intense game play I have experienced. It is full of levers, slides, platforms, blocks, and just about everything one could think of. They also have a very highly developed user's toolkit that people can use to create their own levels and publish them for all us to play.

Got a copy of Bioshock 2? Still got the poster that came with it? Got a black light lying around?
Go hang up the poster and turn on the blacklight. Apparently the posters have secret messages on them.
Check it out on kotaku.
That is freaking awesome! You know what isn't awesome? Taking that same blacklight into your bedroom.
