Starfleet Dental... Dafuq??!?

Found this while trolling the interwebs anf figured someone must have mixed some bad herbs and given it a hefty pull. At least it gave me a good laugh.

TableTop

I love this series!
I saw the first episode a month ago (a new one every other friday), and despite having the game and having played it several times I had a blast learning the rules all over again.

So what is it? Quite simply a show by Wil Wheaton where he invites a few people over to play a game or three, explaining the rules for the viewers as well as the players. Here, take a look at the latest episode...

Pet my panda

Last night I descovered I (and Talendria as well) had gotten our MoP beta invites. About two hours later we set out for the world of Azeroth once again, this time trying to check out how furry Blizzard could make their game.

I wrote a rather lengthy first impression on my blog Strange Realities and can't be bothered to retype it all here with screenshot formating and all, so if you want to read the whole thing, just go visit.
If not... Well, you could take a lok at a few of the screenies I took? There's more in the blog, though. ;)

GW2 vs RMT

I'm not sure how avidly you have been paying attention to GW2 news, but yesterday ArenaNet's founder Mike O'Brien made a blog post about their take on microtransactions.

To put it short you have several types of resources in the game:
Gold - Your standard ingame, grindale currency
Karma - Points used to upgrade stuff, gathered from completing PvE events.
Glory - Points used to upgrade stuff, gathered from participating in PvP.
Gems - Bought in the game-store for REAL CASH, and used to pay for microtransactions.

Doesn't really sound to bad, no? Pretty standard fare, really. What has people raging and predicting Armageddon and Ragnarok at the same time is that it'll be possible to sell Gems ingame for Gold!
That's right... You can pay $5 (or whatever amount is available) for Gems, and then trade them away to get ingame Gold.

"Chasing the dragon" across Tyria

A wonderful mix between a good band and some great GW2 footage. :)

Big boom! - Create your own captions

Saw this one and figured it would be hilarious to see what kind of captions you could come up with. ^_^

Hands up, this is a robbery!

Just a little something I had fun fooling around with today. If you're interrested in seeing the various stages of the process you just have to click on the image. Doesn't show the initial sketch, though, so click here to see it along with various other aliens.
