Warhammer Online: Beta NDA Lifted!
Soooo, I was futzin' around VeCo forums and wandered onto Warhammer Beta NDA Lifted by one of the TGC peeps. A quick glance-through at the rest of the thread sort of piqued my curiosity so I popped over to YouTube. (even though i've put the embeds here, i'd suggest watching the "higher quality" versions since the "standard" is, really, for crap.)

Now, a few of you have played LotRO. Is it me or does it look as though Warhammer's environ went the same (or similar) route with regard to detail?
Jury, for me, is still "out to lunch" yet on Warhammer.

I'm still undecided as well. I kind of still miss WoW - or at least the graphical style and playability of it and WAR looks very similar to me.
It's almost like LoTRo is for people who like classical music whereas WoW / WAR is for people who like popular music.
Although I like classical music its not something I can listen too all the time. In all probability I will buy WAR (and I think my son wants it anyway) but I will try to resist until I can see some player reviews and opinions - and not just the fanboys.
I'll wait for sure.
From what I've heard, the game isn't near ready for release yet, but they've pegged it for September.
They made one major mistake - when WoW came out it wasn't without bugs/faults, but now people do have a great alternative that isn't riddled with muck ups.
So, I'll give 'em a half year or so first to get the first things sorted and then take a look.
