Nefi is stationed in Okinawa with her husband. She's been making these HR-eesque videos for awhile now and just released this latest one. I'm very impressed with the quality, great work Nefi!
"She's been making these HR-esque videos for a while..."
And we're only just NOW hearing about it?! Shame on you (for not sharing this earlier), and you (for not sayin' anything at all) :P - this was totally cool. I like the style of it, makes it feel..approachable (hope that makes sense).
Very nice presentation Nefi. :) Me likey!
Good camera work too, kudos cam team.
Hah, I put up her previous one (I think she's only done two of these 'around the island' videos, the others have been more like a talk show), but pulled it down in case she disapproved of me sharing it here.
But I figured since she's made a few of these (and their context) she's probably ok with them being shared. They really are awesome!
Ah, hehe, I probably just missed the previous time you posted it. ><
I'm glad you did, because it provided another perspective that I hadn't even thought of with regard to Nefi bein' over there. /browscritch Y'know how when y'all talk about places you've gone to (going to), I tend to think along the lines of city versus what lay beyond the city limits. This was a good smack upside the head. :)
I thought that was really good. The lodge at the start reminded me a lot of the place we stayed at in North Wales last year. Anyway, I thought she had a very natural presenting style and I'd like to see more of the island. I'm not going to kid myself - I'll never go there in my lifetime so its interesting to watch.
Lol, thanks Gwyd for sharing! :) I'm glad you all like them! I've only done two so far, but there's another where I explore several sites in the North and I plan to do more.
Funny thing about the Okuma one: When I'm on the North Beach at the end, I was actually getting sandblasted! We had a typhoon passing to the south of us and it was whipping up sand off the beach into my eyes. We had to redo the shot about 8 times before we got a good one!
Here's the first one I did on Peace Prayer Park:
And where is the blooper real?!?! These really are awesome. I've given them to a few people I know that are deployed there and they've enjoyed them!
Haha! No blooper reel yet, but I keep suggesting it. :)
must have bloopers! yus yus. teehee.
