I have NO idea why, but yesterday and today I've been queing up for battlegrounds. When you take my lack of PvP-talent into consideration it makes as much sense as coating your pets with latex and donating them to charity.
Regardless, despite being downed more times than than humanity has fucked up I had a fun time, and I didn't actually end up on last place a single time (close, but no cigar).
And now I call out to you for some advice...
I want some tips on how to be a better PvP players. I know I have very crummy equipment which you can see here.
Problem with that is that I don't raid for gear, and the PvP gear requite loads of honor points which seem to come very slow to me.
So, here's what I need help with:
--------------------------------------------
How can I boost my honor gain?
Any tips on good PvP builds? (I'm not into healing, just in case you suggest that)
Strategies on what Shaman spells to use and not.
Good and bad classes to go against?
Any particular keybinds/control schemes to know about?
Anything else you might find helpful...
I'll be using the default UI (for the time being) since I keep falling through the ground when I use addons.

Do the Daily BGs - you need the marks anyway.
Do AV if it isn't totally fucked for your side/battlegroup.
Try to join premades.
Go elemental if you insist on not healing.
Key-bind everything you might use. Bind everything else just in case.
go 40/0/21 talent build. NS is too good not to have. NS / EM / CL -> Earth Shock = World of hurt
And you weren't kidding when you said you had crap gear. Fast weapon = teh suck. Slow weapons = teh pwn.
Enhancement absolutely *blows* when you go against decent pvp-ers. Anything that can kite or otherwise keep you at range will have you for breakfast.
Please go read up a bit on shamans in general, as I am not quite you grasped some basic things. Your enchants/gems are for elemental... yet you're enhancement. You don't have shamanistic rage, which is a godsend for Enh. You work on big weapon damage... yet you don't spec Weapon Mastery. You go into Resto that far, yet don't take Totemic Mastery.
In short, the spec is a mess. The weapons are crap. Your gear ain't good. The spec actually is not a good choice for PvP at all.
You never did Arena. You barely PvPed (14xx kills, not even honoured with a single BG faction).
To sum up, no experience, no gear, no spec. Well, that is going to hurt.
Head over to www.elitistjerks.com and check their PvP section and the Class specific sections. Both have massive threads on (Enhancement) shamans, featuring some vital info for you. Read first, ask questions later. They don't appreciate dumb questions there. (As in, ones you could've found the answer to yourself if you actually read through the pages.)
Thanks for the tips. ^_^
And no, that build isn't intended for PvP. It has served me quite well for grinding PvE, but I keep getting my butt served on a platter when up against other players. Well, I -DID- say I lack PvP-skills.
Just like Aerath said, do the daily BG and get in AV WHENEVER it pops. The daily BG alone will get you about 1k honor (the win + 400 or so). Besides that, join an arena team. Even if you suck, you will eventually get your items, hence the "Welfare Epix" portion.
Seeing as how it seems you just switched to Elemental, head to the AH and buy a bunch of greens that will suit you better. HERE is one of the elemental shamans in my guild. I don't know anything about shamans, but my guess is you can use him for atleast a base of what type of gear to get, enchants, etc.
As far as PVP goes..FRAWSTSHAWK and you win. or so I hear.
Yeah, Frostshock is the one I use most often, only broken up by Earthshock whn some naughty priest try to mindcontrol me.
Strangely enough I only seen to get into AV. Well, about 9/10 BGs I get into.
I played for a little while last evening, trying out the Elemental spec (better for PvP so far), and I'm rather annoyed by the honor-bug. I had accumulated ~2368 according to the pvp panel, but when it was finally added to my total I only recieved 1373. :(
Anywho, I'm having fun. And I've set my sights on getting the Gladiators Mail set, starting with the chest-piece. :)
Or would you recommend getting a Gladiator weapon first?
The weapon, although nice, is quite expensive. By the time you get the honor for that, you can get like 3 pieces that will make your survivability go way up. If nothing else, get on of the level 70 weapons off the AH. They can have like 90 +dmg for a one hand or 121 for a staff.
