On the first of April of this year I sent an e-mail plus several screenshots to the web staff of the Standard-Examiner, which is the parent company of the paper I work for, The Hilltop Times. Basically my email was a request for them to re-design our site, which was functioning more like an RSS feed and had no organization, key word tags, or advanced search options.
I took several screenshots of some well-known websites, including Time.com and Google.com, to illustrate my point and also designed a Word Press blog using a template to further illustrate how easy it would be for them to set up the site using a blog format.

I think I've mentioned the Cake Wrecks blog before, ala the Naked Mohawk-Baby Carrot Jockeys, but I figured it was time to do a full post honoring the wonderful laughs I have gained from this blog.
Basically, Cake Wrecks is what it says it is. A collection of the most horrible, eye-gougingly awful cakes seen around the world. This includes typos, over-usage of sprinkles, turd-like icing swirls, and, of course, the notorious Cupcake Cake (CCC).
If the wreckerations don't take your breath away, the posts the blogger makes each Sunday will. Every Sunday, pictures of REALLY AWESOME cakes are posted, much like the one to the right of this post. Totally awesome.

I'm looking over blogs that I've either found or have been pointed out to me (thanks Mangara!), and I come across an interesting one on The Pink Pigtail Inn that piques my curiosity. I like WoW videos, not all of them mind you (some of them make either my eyes or or my ears bleed, others manage to do both), this one was given a different spin.
This is a video about, well, the players discussing their characters while they walk/work through the course of a day in the mundane...but as their avatars. Check it out:

So as some of you may have noticed I have made myself a blog away from here. Don't blame me - its all Stigg & Gormash's fault for letting me see their sites and I thought to myself "I'd like to do that". I have no plans to leave and never post on the Temple again as I am expecting my new blog will have more things which you guys won't be massively interested in...although I hope I'm wrong and you'll come on by to visit & read plus I plan to put up a load more pics over the following week.

And you thought grinding away for hours on end was boring, doing dailies is just as bad, and worse than grinding. I was in Skettis doing a daily that requires you to gather some kind of dust from those annoying bird people. Its a tedious daily, but it brings 12G 99S everytime you do it.

Damn, two month since my last post. Where has time gone? Well lets see, nearly got fired from work for an incident that was not my doing, but all fingers were pointed at me because of something that I "allegedly" did. But the proof was in the pudding, and I was saved the embarassment of the "walk" out of the building.
I finally leveled my NE warrior to 70. Bought my flying mount, and have been just futzing around OL, doing dailies and getting my Kara attunement. Now I have to decide if I want to continue with skinning/mining as profs or do something else. Who knows.

Most of you've read Stiggs topic about deleted blogs over at the incgamer forums, and Rushster told us that it might be possible to get a dump-file of the content if we PMed him.
Well, that's what I did, and here's what I got:

Sunday night ran through Ramparts in Outlands with four of my guild mates. At the end I got a Hellreaver Polearm. Sweet polearm with lots of dps, and it looks as menacing as ever on the back of Tokarim.

Early Saturday night I dinged 62, after finishing up the last quests in Hellfire I had in my log. Later that night I ran a guildmate and two others through Uldaman. I had never been in this instance before, and our group consisted of a 48 Pallie, 43 Hunter and 42 shadow priest. We only wiped once, when the priest aggroed 10 mob, and the hunter and pallie couldnt keep up. Everyone got what they needed, no ninja BS, and everyone respected each others class regarding drops.

Last night in Outlands working with a guild mate we came across a 62 Orc hunter working Uncontrolled Voidwalkers, she was half health when we jumped her, and finished her off pretty quickly. Working the An ambitious plan quest, my partner was just about to get the crystal he needed when I saw the hunter mark appear over his head. She's back he yelled, and I turned around in time to see her pet charging for me. I had enough rage going to intercept her, and put some massive damage on her, and before I know it, I'm frozen in time, and she lets loose with her gun.
