It seems that Conan's days are numbered with server merges happening for the second time in so many years. There has been talk of some of the servers being so low in population they cannot even form a 24 man raid in prime time with forum / in-game based organisation. My experiences typically showed around 150 players online during Australian prime-time on the most populated server, but I suspect US prime-time would be a bit higher. It certainly did not look good, but that somehow never seemed to distract from the game itself which is so brilliant in so many ways. In any event, the server merges are as follows...

Well thats not its real name, but its a pyramid and I couldnt be bothered to look up its real name. I dont proffess to be the font of all knowledge so stop going on at me for heavens sake! And anyone who thinks I am eluding to "breast reduction"...well you're right :)

Tonight I joined a guild. Yup I bit the bullet and did a bit of searching around looking for one which seemed to suit my style and personality, and came across Long Forgotten soldiers. They have a fairly large guild as Ive seen guild members around while playing.

AAAAAAaaarrrggggghhh!!!........okay I'm fine now. Its just that I really wanted to get to level 40 this weekend and I was doing so damned well until I got mullered on a quest last night...twice! And the nearest spawn point was over the other side of the nobrotting mountain in Wild Lands!

After reading Tanitha's post regarding her Dark Templar in AOC, but most especially after seeing the really nice armour in the pic she posted I decided on Saturday to make a Dark Templar too.

Yesterday evening I finally left the starting zone island of Tortage and this morning I got her to level 23.

So yesterday I was sitting at my PC wondering what to play. All of my accounts are cancelled so I basically had a choice of playing UT3, Racedriver Grid (which now works on a different HDD for some obscure reason) or resubscribing to an MMO. After mulling it over for a while I decided to do a month of AOC. Its been "Godknowshowlong" since I played it last, and after downloading the latest patch I was into the character screen, but whats wrong? Darn they merged my server and I'm now on Crom with a main character name of Morgainne6785731 or something like that.

This past couple of weeks has been interminable for me. Following the latest Aion beta weekend I cancelled my EvE subscription - I really havent been playing it for nearly a month and its just money down the drain - which leaves me with no MMO game left Im currently subscribed to. I dabbled a bit with COD4 and kind of enjoy it but its not an MMO and really theres very little chat except for a "gg" at the end of a round, and I usually chip in with a "did I win?"

I loaded in Khemi, and I quickly went through my "Friendly" spell list, clicking on all of them just to see what happens, I got some buffs which I really didn't know or care what they do.
